TIC Council Calls for a Fair and Competitive Market for Non-Financial Audits in Europe
TIC Council is pleased to invite you to our upcoming internal webinar following the publication of our Position Paper on the forthcoming European Cyber Resilience Act.
To upscale cybersecurity and raise awareness among European consumers, the Commission's proposal, published on 15 September, suggests introducing essential cybersecurity and vulnerability handling requirements for a wide range of products, accompanied by a conformity assessment procedure based on the risk classification of the product. Considering the compliance system foreseen by the Act, the TIC sector is a central player in the successful implementation of the text.
The paper describes the current challenges facing the EU horizontal cybersecurity framework and proposes orientations for achieving a higher level of cybersecurity and competitiveness at the European and international levels. The webinar session will be the opportunity to provide a comprehensive overview of the Cyber Resilience Act and the work done by the TIC Council members so far, detail the position of TIC Council, and offer the opportunity for a Q&A session.
Date and Time: Tuesday 7 February, from 13:00-14:00
Speakers:
- Martin Michelot, Executive director for Europe, TIC Council
- Angelo d’Amato, Lead Principal, Identity Management & Security, UL Solutions
Please note that this webinar will be for TIC Council members only.
