The Europe Regional Steering Committee of TIC Council aims to define and supervise an overall advocacy strategy for the TIC Council to deploy in Europe. Currently, the committee has a variety of objectives:
- Decide on EU political priorities and a regional advocacy strategy in line with the Global priorities
- Agree and prioritise issues and topics to be addressed as they arise
- Work with the national associations and deploy a common strategy
- Decide on key stakeholders mapping and approve a strategy to build relationships, advocacy actions, and alliances
- Monitor issues likely to impact the TIC industry in Region and ensure swift action is taken
- Liaise with other Regional, Sectoral and Horizontal committees on relevant topics to ensure alignment and global coherence
