Dimensions and Design
- Badge Size: Height: 2.5 inches (6.35 cm), Width: 3 inches (7.62 cm)
- Shape: Square with rounded corners.
- Design Elements:
- Logo: TIC Council logo prominently displayed in the center.
- Text: "CERTIFIED" at the bottom in bold yellow text using Gotham Black font.
- Color Scheme: Background: Dark blue (Hex: #003366, RGB: 0, 51, 102); Border: Thick yellow (Hex: #FFCC00, RGB: 255, 204, 0); Text: Yellow (Hex: #FFCC00, RGB: 255, 204, 0).
Safety: The badge should be made of materials that are safe and suitable for the inspectors/superintendents working environment. It can be patched onto the clothing.
Eligibility: Only petroleum inspectors and agricultural superintendents who have successfully completed the TIC Council certification programme and maintain a valid certificate are eligible to receive and wear the badge.
Display: The badge may be worn on a voluntary basis during official duties but is restricted to TIC Council certified inspectors and superintendents only.
Responsibility for Badges: TIC Council provides the guidelines for the badge but does not supply the badges themselves. It is the responsibility of the individual inspector or their company to produce the badges according to the specified guidelines and dimensions.
Certification Validity: The badge is valid for the duration of the inspector’s/superintendent’s certification period, which is five years, after which inspectors must seek re-certification. Without re-certification, the inspector is no longer authorized to use the badge.
