The TIC Council will be hosting a multi-stakeholder Safety Conference on 5 September 2019 in at the Park Central Hotel in New York City. In partnership with BP, Chevron, ExxonMobil, and Shell, the conference will bring together the inspection, petroleum shipping and terminal industries to discuss topical safety issues faced in both on and offshore settings and agree to suitable solutions to address them to work towards a stronger safety working culture and environment for all. The event is expected to reach around 100 participants and will feature interactive sessions covering ethics and integrity, stop work authority as well as the development of the inspection industry safety code.
