For our office in Delhi, TIC Council is recruiting an Executive Director that will be responsible for leading the TIC Council activities in India. Deadline to apply: 28 February 2023.
Job Description
- Develop and deploy an Advocacy strategy with the support and endorsement of the India Steering Committee
- Contribute proactively and reactively to relevant regulatory and technical schemes evolving in India
- Create base for Advocacy group and/or Steering Committee to engage with relevant stakeholders
- Organise periodic meetings with relevant stakeholders (incl. Government officials)
- Facilitate meetings and progress agenda of all Working Groups identified/created by India Steering Committee
- Manage seamless communication between TIC Council global and India Steering Committee
- Grow membership of TIC Council in India
- Build brand and reputation of the Society in India
- Run the legal entity and all operating mechanisms in alignment with the Indian fiscal and legal requirements.
Key requirements for the role
- Master’s degree or higher in one of the following Human Science branches: Political Sciences, Law, Journalism or similar
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience at a company or trade association and/or as a public servant in relevant government departments (ideally a role of Governmental Affairs Manager)
- English at native language level
- Masters drafting position papers, press releases, white papers, official and other positioning documents
