Brussels, 8 February 2024 TIC Council is proud to announce the appointment of Marc Boissonnet, former Executive Vice-President Corporate & External Affairs at Bureau Veritas, as ESG Director. With over 30 years of experience in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) market, Marc brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the TIC Council Secretariat.

Marc Boissonnet began his illustrious career in the TIC industry with Bureau Veritas, where he has held various significant positions, starting with operational roles and progressing to commercial and, most recently, corporate affairs. In his capacity as Executive Vice-President, Marc was instrumental in shaping the company's public affairs and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Within his role in Bureau Veritas, Marc served as Chair of the ESG Working Group and the Strategic Communications Committee of TIC Council.

Last year, Marc received the TIC Council Merit Award for exceptional contribution to the development of the voluntary Guidelines to Align Taxonomy-related Disclosures of TIC Companies, a document that further advances transparency and accountability within our industry. He also sits in the European Commission Expert Group on Sustainability Assurance Standards where he contributes with his competence and knowledge to support the work of this group on behalf of the TIC sector. This recognition, bestowed upon Marc by his peers and colleagues, highlights his exceptional contributions to our industry.
