Summit highlights include a landmark collaboration with the Quality Council of India (QCI), the release of the TIC Sector Vision Document, and the coinciding TIC Council Global Board Meeting.

New Delhi, October 12, 2026: TIC Council India will host its 3rd Annual TIC Summit India 2026 on Wednesday, 28 October, from 17:00 hrs onwards at the Taj Palace, New Delhi.

Themed “Driving Quality. Building Trust. Enabling India 2047,” the invitation-only event brings together over 120 C-suite executives, regulators, and quality infrastructure bodies alongside senior Union government ministers and international industry leaders.

Aligning with the Prime Minister’s recent Independence Day imperative for Indian businesses to capture international markets through uncompromising quality, the Summit shifts the conversation from aspiration to execution. As the country builds towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, a robust Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) ecosystem remains critical to securing global recognition for Indian products, services, and supply chains.

Key Summit Highlights

In its third edition, the Summit will present a better, bolder and bigger canvas. The unique proposition will focus on three primary milestones to strengthen India’s quality frameworks:

  • Release of the TIC Sector Vision Document: Developed in consultation with Deloitte, policymakers, and member companies, this forward-looking, five-year roadmap will be unveiled by the headlining Union Minister to chart the sector’s strategic direction.
  • Collaboration with QCI: The Quality Council of India (QCI) and the TIC Council will formally announce a joint initiative designed to elevate domestic regulatory standards to match international benchmarks engaging all diverse stakeholders and build export potential for MSME.
  • Global Leadership Dialogue: Direct deliberations between Indian policymakers and the TIC Council’s global leadership network, facilitating the exchange of international best practices.

Leadership Perspectives

"For India to capture global markets, quality must be the baseline, not an afterthought," said Amit Thakkar, Chair, Regional Steering Committee India, TIC Council India. "This Summit, alongside our new collaboration with QCI and the five-year Vision Document, provides a concrete roadmap for that transition. We are equipping Indian businesses with the conformity assessment frameworks needed to make 'Made in India' a universal standard of trust."

"The decision to host the TIC Council Global Board Meeting in New Delhi alongside this Summit is a direct endorsement of India’s economic trajectory," stated Florian Anderhuber, Director General of TIC Council. "As global supply chains realign, a robust quality infrastructure is what connects Indian innovation to international markets. We are committed to working with Indian policymakers to harmonise standards and facilitate frictionless global trade."

"Last year we spoke of Mission 2047. This year the Summit is about action: a shared roadmap in the Vision Document, and a working partnership with QCI to carry it forward," stated Seema Shukla, Executive Director, TIC Council, India.

TIC Council Global Board Meeting in India

Further underscoring the country's strategic position, the TIC Council Global Board will convene its meeting in New Delhi the following day. By placing India’s quality agenda directly before the leaders shaping global TIC practices, the Summit opens a rare, candid channel between international industry leadership and India’s policymakers.
