We are proud to announce the release of the TIC Council Annual Report 2024—highlighting a year of global engagement, strategic impact, and sector-wide innovation.
At the heart of this year’s achievements is our commitment to sustainability. The launch of the Certification System for Sustainability Practices (CSSP) stands out as a significant milestone—offering a credible framework for verifying environmental claims and supporting compliance worldwide. In parallel, our policy engagement around key files such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the Green Claims Directive reinforced the value of independent assurance in sustainability reporting.
Digital transformation was another central focus in 2024. With the establishment of the AI Quality Infrastructure (AIQI) Consortium, TIC Council positioned itself at the forefront of shaping ethical and secure AI governance. Through initiatives like global cybersecurity hackathons and active dialogue with regulators, we are strengthening digital trust and resilience across industries.
Further demonstrating our committment to enhancing transparency and responsible trade, TIC Council supported the official launch of the OECD Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Certification Scheme in Barcelona. Developed in collaboration with the OECD, this initiative sets a new international benchmark for compliance, governance, and responsible trade.
Together, these milestones reflect a year defined by action, collaboration, and shared purpose. As we look to the future, the TIC Council remains committed to advancing a safer, more sustainable, and digitally secure world—empowered by the dedication and expertise of our members.
