We are happy to announce the publication of two position papers in support of two proposals from the European Commission.
With the first one, on Energy Efficiency Directive, we welcome the introduction of energy management systems for all enterprises with an average annual consuption higher than 100TJ, to be conducted solely by independent conformity assessment bodies. Our second paper promotes the role of the TIC sector in the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, as the verification of total embedded carbon emissions by an accredited independent conformity assesment body would minimise unintentional miscalculations and fraud. Click here to read the paper.
