TIC Council India is pleased to announce the publication of the Executive Summary of Vision 2030: Unlocking India’s Quality Dividend – A TIC Sector Roadmap for Viksit Bharat, prepared by Deloitte.

As India pursues its Viksit Bharat vision of a USD 30 trillion economy by 2047, the document sets out how the TIC sector can support quality, trust and export competitiveness.

The vision document includes:

  • A National TIC Mission: Covering policy and assurance, capability development and innovation, and ecosystem development.
  • Quality as the foundation for exports: standards, technical regulations and conformity assessment influence an estimated 80% of global merchandise trade, which makes quality essential to India’s USD 2 trillion export target for 2030-31.
  • Strengthening capacity and international recognition: reducing re-testing and delay, particularly for MSMEs, through the principle of “tested once, accepted globally”.
  • Qualified independent TIC providers: supporting accredited conformity assessment bodies, irrespective of ownership, can widen access and strengthen trust.
  • Strategic Pillars: Quality Competitiveness through global standards alignment; Future Readiness through digitalisation and AI-assisted assurance; Trust & Traceability through product transparency; and Participation of Independent TIC Agencies to strengthen India's quality ecosystem.
