What is TIC Summit India?
TIC Summit India is the annual flagship event of TIC Council India, the voice of the independent testing, inspection and certification industry in the country. Each edition brings senior government officials, regulators, business leaders and quality assurance professionals into one room for a frank conversation about the role quality infrastructure plays in India's growth.
Since its first edition in 2024, the Summit has become a fixed point in the calendar for anyone working at the intersection of standards, compliance and national development. Each edition has also served as a launchpad for TIC Council India's policy work, with recommendations released at the Summit going on to inform the wider national conversation on quality and assurance.

TIC Summit India 2026: "Driving Quality. Building Trust. Delivering Vision 2047."
As India moves towards the centenary of its independence, the ambition of Viksit Bharat asks for more than economic growth. It asks for a quality revolution — products that are safe, services that can be trusted, supply chains that are transparent, and institutions that are credible. The testing, inspection and certification sector is the infrastructure of trust beneath all of it, quietly underwriting industrial competitiveness, trade facilitation, consumer protection and regulatory coherence.
Where the 2025 Summit set out the sector's vision under Mission 2047: Building India's Future with Competence and Confidence, the 2026 edition marks the move from aspiration to action — from articulating what the sector stands for to demonstrating what it has delivered.
The Summit will convene government, industry, quality institutions and the TIC sector around:
- Quality and competitiveness — conformity assessment architecture and market surveillance as the foundation of India's industrial and trade ambitions
- Digital trust — cybersecurity for operational technology and consumer electronics, and assurance for AI-enabled systems
- The energy transition — green hydrogen, carbon markets, and the verification frameworks that give them credibility
- Consumer protection and food safety — testing infrastructure that holds at national scale
What to expect in 2026
This year's Summit carries a particularly full agenda:
- TIC Council Global Board Meeting — TIC Council's global leadership convenes in India, underlining the country's growing weight in the international TIC landscape.
- Release of the Vision Document — TIC Council India sets out its long-term position on the role of quality infrastructure in the national growth agenda.

In the build-up to the Summit, leaders from across India's TIC community share their Quality Mantra — a short, personal answer to what quality means in practice and why it matters for the country's next chapter.
Look back: TIC Summit India 2024 & 2025
The inaugural edition set the direction. Dignitaries, industry leaders and policymakers gathered to discuss what it will take to support India's goal of a $30 trillion economy by 2047. A clear consensus emerged from the day: educational institutions, government bodies and industry have to move together if quality infrastructure is to keep pace with the country's development plans.
The second edition centred on the practical machinery of national development. Hanane Taidi, Director General of TIC Council, opened on the rising global demand for trusted assurance. Dr Michael Fübi, Chairman of TÜV Rheinland Group and President of TIC Council, delivered the keynote "Quality at the Crossroads," making the case for neutral, objective assessment at a moment when truth and assumption are easily confused.
