TIC Council is pleased to announce our first TIC Council-DEKRA webinar in our new ‘Occupational Health and Safety Webinar Series'. This series sets out to share best practices and raise awareness of MSDs in the workplace. This topical issue is the focus of this year’s EU-OSHA Campaign ‘Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load 2020-2022’ of which TIC Council, DEKRA and Siemens are partners.
 

This virtual panel entitled ‘Work-related musculoskeletal disorders in times of COVID’ and moderated by TIC Council will bring together high-level speakers from the TIC industry (DEKRA), the private sector (Siemens) & the EU Institutions (EU-OSHA) to provide a cross-sectoral perspective on the health risks and wider-reaching impacts posed by work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the context of the COVID pandemic. Panellists will explore and share insights on challenges faced, best practices and possible solutions to prevent work-related MSDs.

The webinar will take place on Tuesday, 13th April 2021 at 15:00 - 16:00 CET via Webex.

. The health risks posed by work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs);

. The wider-reaching impacts of MSDs on businesses, economies and society in the context of the COVID pandemic;

. Challenges faced, best practices and possible solutions to prevent work-related MSDs;

. The interconnection between ergonomics, performance and employee engagement.
