TIC Council is pleased to announce a webinar in cooperation with European Schoolnet, entitled: “Back to School in the ‘New Normal’”.

The virtual panel discussion will explore the challenges and opportunities of reopening schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. By bringing together a series of speakers from different background in the education sector, as well as health experts from the TIC sector, we aim to promote an insightful discussion on how to transform the pandemic into an opportunity to change the way in which the school environment is perceived.

 The panel will analyse the following topics:

-The challenges of adapting the school environment to the “new normal”: from the teaching methods to the creation of new spaces;

-How online learning can be successfully blended with face-to-face teaching: changing the way education is perceived;

-The psychological effects that the pandemic has had on students and how to transform that into a learning opportunity for the future;

-How to ensure that the school environment is safe and all sanitary requirements are met for everyone and how to face and overcome -possible future outbreaks, diminishing its impact as much as possible.
