TIC Council is happy to share its latest Guidance Paper recently published by the Government Services Committee.

This paper outlines the role of Consignment-based Conformity Assessment (CBCA) services in ensuring products subject to health and safety risks comply with the applicable regulatory requirements and standards of numerous countries and how such services contribute to the overall facilitation of international trade. The guidance paper also provides the TIC perspective on successful CBCA programmes.

For the past 20 years, TIC Council members have been instrumental in ensuring the development of the best practices for CBCA. TIC Council will also be publishing a revised version of its CBCA Code of Practice in Q2 2022.
