TIC Council is pleased to announce that it has been appointed as the newest member of the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), following UKAS’s recent Annual General Meeting. This appointment marks an important milestone in the long-standing collaboration between TIC Council and the United Kingdom’s national accreditation body.

TIC Council’s appointment as a UKAS member reinforces the collective ambition to enhance coordination across the global and UK quality infrastructure landscape. Hanane Taidi, Director General of TIC Council, said:

“TIC Council is honoured to join UKAS’ membership, standing on the shoulders of a longstanding and productive partnership between our industry and the UK accreditation body—one that has already delivered trailblazing initiatives such as the AIQI Consortium. The milestone underscores once more our joint commitment to driving innovation, trust, and excellence across global markets, and opens the door to new opportunities to continue charting the future of Quality Infrastructure, together.”

Matt Gantley, Chief Executive of UKAS, said:

“We are delighted to welcome the TIC Council as UKAS’s newest member. The TIC Council’s international perspective and expertise in the testing, inspection and certification industry will bring valuable insight to the UKAS membership. Their involvement strengthens collaboration between the global TIC community, government and the UK’s quality infrastructure — ensuring that accreditation continues to underpin trust, competence and confidence across markets.”
