The TIC Index of Trust will annually assess the extent of confidence citizens place in the efforts undertaken by national governments, international institutions, and companies on current issues.

We started our pilot survey by asking citizens about their level of trust regarding efforts to foster sustainability in two very different countries, Germany and Brazil, which still are key to global sustainability efforts given their economic importance and natural wealth. The findings from this survey unequivocally reveal that citizens across varied backgrounds, age groups, and education levels share a fundamental concern: climate change and its repercussions.
