The objectives of the Food & Health committee are:
- To improve the professional image and standing of TIC Council member companies within the feed, food and beverage products testing, inspection and certification industry. This includes their standing with relevant stakeholders: farmers, primary processors, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, end users, consumer organisations and government bodies.
- To provide collective representation for companies within the industry in order to convey their opinions and experience to external parties.
- To provide an open forum for members to debate and formulate solutions to testing, inspection and certification issues within the industry.
