TIC Council, now in proud cooperation with Tankbank International, has the pleasure of inviting you to our upcoming International Energy Safety Conference, on September 28th at the Conrad Centennial Singapore. This year’s conference comes with an expanded scope to discuss safety and ethical behaviour in the petroleum and petrochemical industry, as well as updates on topics and issues of common interest in this rapidly evolving market.

Details

The International Energy Safety Conference will take place on Wednesday 28th of September 2022.

As per Singapore regulations, participants to this event will need to be fully vaccinated. This may be subject to change in the future.

 

The venue is 20 minutes aways by car from Singapore’s Changi Airport, and a 3-minute walk away from the Promenade Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station.

We encourage to you make your hotel reservations as soon as possible, as it will be a very busy period in Singapore. We will provide some hotel recommendations on our event website soon.

 

Programme

The event starts at 9:00 until 17:00. Participants will receive complementary refreshments during coffee breaks and lunch. The conference will be followed by a cocktail networking reception at the ballroom foyer from 18:00 to 20:00!

Some of the sessions of the day will be:

  • Inspections in a post-COVID world: lessons learnt on safety and welfare of personnel during and after the pandemic.
  • Panel discussion with Terminal managers in the Singapore Area: Interaction between inspectors and terminals with a view on safety, shared goals and common problems.
  • Introduction of tank inspection by spectroscopic wash water analysis: Benefits, limitations, and overall positive safety impact.
  • Safety when Boarding vessels, gangways, ladders and personnel hoists.
  • General chemical logistics supply chain session.
