TIC Council is excited to announce that its Annual Summit will be taking place on Thursday 25 May 2023 at the Hotel in Brussels, Belgium.
Our topic this year is: “Implementing ESG Policies in an Uncertain World: Will the EU’s Green Deal Ambitions Level Up Global Climate Policies?”
Starting from the ambitious regulatory framework set by the European Union with its Green Deal, we will bring together EU and international organisations, policymakers, and industry captains from around the world to discuss:
- whether the EU Green Deal will encourage similar action from regulators in other regions
- how it will affect companies all around the world
- the challenges and risks of implementing these measures
We are thrilled to confirm that our first speaker is British author and futurist, Ray Hammond, author of the international best-seller The World In 2030. Described as "Europe’s most experienced futurist and keynote speaker on future topics," Ray has been writing and speaking about the trends that will shape the future for over 35 years. In 2010, he was presented with the UN Gold Medal for Services to Futurology. During our Summit, Ray will explore the vision of the future based on megatrends in climate change, geopolitical upheaval, and technological change.
