The TC CML is dealing with the following issues:
1. EC Directives:
• Machinery Directive (incl. changes in NEW MD)
• Lift Directive ( - “ - )
• Use of Work Equipment Directive, as amended
Safety relevant problems for specific machinery and lifts placed on the market and in service
2. Old machinery/lifts (in use):
• Upgrading requirements (risk assessments)
• Accident statistics
3. Competencies of inspection personnel
TC CML is developing the TIC Council positions on inspection practices to ensure a common level of safety.
